Asian Restaurant

Contrary to popular belief, our work does not always start at the beginning of a brand. Case in point our on-going collaboration with Nood - one of the most popular Asian fusion restaurants in Lisbon. Desiring a slight makeover due a change of location, Nood requested our help to innovate their current brand while honouring some of its signature features. Updating a brand is one of the most challenging yet exciting projects to take on, as it requires a deep understanding of the essence of a business and its loyal customers. It’s risky business, to say the least, since we must achieve something that still feels familiar to current fans but fresh enough that incites a newfound curiosity for the label. By carefully studying Nood’s original traits and working closely with its lovely team, we were able to strategically modernise the brand for the new space. Inspired by the industrial theme chosen by the interior design team, we suggested the installation of a neon sign, a contemporary ornament that not only helps create the perfect atmosphere, but is currently one the most coveted décor trends, seen all over Instagram feeds. Imagined in the label’s signature red, the unexpected piece brings to mind Asian city streets and urban landscapes, elevating the brand and making it feel more authentic.
